Can someone tell me how to turn off system restore in Windows 2000 Pro?

Only if you can tell me how you got it "turned on." :-)

Seriously, Windows 2000 Pro doesn't have system restore.

Do you mean Win XP Pro, or are you thinking of a different feature, like
Emergency Repair Disk or Save/Restore "system state" via ntbackup?
