Uhmmm,... excuse me, but if "people may not wish to click on" his link,
my hope is they still operate under enough free will to just
"not click on his link"...

....is that too simple an analysis ?

Yes, actually it is. Many people who post in these newsgroups are
novices and don't realize that those of us who are *not* novices will
probably not click on an unknown link and that will limit the number of
replies the OP gets to his/her answer. That would be self-defeating. So
it is better to tell people the best way for them to compose a post so
as to get an answer to their question.

There is a picture of it here,

Yes it will.
Enable Internet Connection Sharing on the PC with 2 network adapters.

The reply from Cunningham about putting the hub just after the modem is
wrong. Ignore it.

Perhaps what he was thinking was that you could use a _router_ at the ADSL
modem, and then connect all the PCs to it, in which case none of the PCs
would require 2 LAN cards or ICS.

A router and a hub are different animals.

Hi

You can leave it as is and use ICS as mentioned above.

For better protection and more stable sysytem you can add a Cable/DSL Router
between your DSL Modem and the LAN.

You probably can find a Cable/DSL Router on sale for $10 to $20.

Plug the Kitchen computer to the Router as well as the Cable that comes from
you room.
