Greetings!! I have somehow messed up the MBR on my Win XP (by directly
deleting the Linux partitions from Windows Interface through Parition
Magic).

If I use the 3 'Recovery CDs' that I had received with my Laptop, I
understand that it will delete all the existing data on the laptop,
which is fine with me.

Will it additionally also fix whatever is wrong with the MBR?

If you properly initialize your Recovery CD to perform
a full system recovery, your PC should be returned to
its original factory setup. Read the User's Guide that
came with your PC for detailed instructions.
