Will pay for phone support for FP 2003

I need phone help/support/friend from someone who knows FP 2003, and the proper use of templates, themes, and FP navigation tools. The books and newsgroups just can't get my over the hump. Can anyone suggest anyone?

Believe it or not- I also found FP 2002 for Dummies very helpful. I would
guess Jim's book would be more detailed though.

IMHO the best approach it to use both types of books simultaneously. the
"dummies" one so you don't get frustrated too quickly and the "heavy" one so
you can gain a greater understanding of the details. eventually the
"dummies" book becomes useless to you and it's all "heavy" from there out.
;-)
 
Jim's book is like a bible...and heavy too! :-)

heavy as hell. ;-) which jim? they've both got books out that weigh about
the same.
never the less using a simple book in conjunction with a "heavy" one will
keep a newbie from getting frustrated. at least that's how it was for this
newbie.
I like the "visually" series for the simple book. they're published by
wiley with maran graphics doing the work. they're simple, graphical, and
just enough to get you "into" it without treating you like a dummy. that's
been my experience to date. just bought a "visually" book for mm flash and
I hope to g*d. it works the same way, cuz I'm not "flash instinctive".

I can only afford one jim book at a time, still working on FP2002 inside out upside down...whatever.

You should try Swish easier than Flash and a whole lot CHEAPER...its like 50-60 euro and it creates flash files.

I know but I've got flash, and I often/ semi-often need to edit .fla files
and stuff. there's no reason I haven't caught on yet other than I just
haven't poured the proper effort into it. I've never failed on something I
honestly tried to do. quit trying lots of things though. ;-)
