Users manual for FP 2003

I am updating my simple FP 2000 web site with FP 2003. I cannot understand
the online tutorial for FP 2003 at all, as I am not a techie. FP 2000 came
with a nice hard copy manual that was very easy to understand and use. Is
there a similar manual for FP 2003? My web site is very simple, as it just
has lots of my vacation photos and vacation stories on it for my family and
friends to see.

Printed manuals (except for maybe basic setup instructions) have not bee
included in FP for years. The trend follows for just about any other
software package you care to mention.

Mostly these days the manual comes as a PDF file on the installation disk
( not saying that's the case with FP2003) but that seems to be the case for
most software these days.

Frontpage 2003 was designed for those who are not techies.

What is it that you don't understand - ask your questions on this group, and
we'll give you answers as best we can.

If you still have the "nice hard copy manual," use it. Not that much has
changed. As Steve pointed out, use the product's Help function. There is
more information there than in the manual.

True with almost all programs distributed today. The problem is that some
years ago, the help function was an afterthought. Now it is generally the
only source of information. The F1 key never broke anything.

If you still can't figure out some specific aspect, ask here.

Thanks, all. I just followed what I did with FP 2000 and it seemed to work.
Some of the icons and commands changed along with the looks of some of the
screens, but I was able to figure them out.

Now that I published the updates, I have another problem, which I posted
with a question "missing text in buttons and titles in remote sites". This is
another example of WYSIWYG lies - the remote site is missing text in some of
the buttons and titles, all of which are on the navigation page, and which
show up on my local laptop site.
