When coping and pasting from a pdf file into Word 2000, the colors will not
print. Print preview shows the colors and the printer settings are correct. I
have another user who is doing the same thing but using Word 2003 and using
the same model printer and the job comes out in color. Are there any obscure
options in Word 2000 I am missing?
Thanks,

Hi CJ

There are (very many) obscure options in all versions of Word, but none
that readily ring a bell here. :-)

What colored objects are we talking about here: font color, graphics,
backgrounds? Especially if it's the latter, Word 2000 is only using
these for HTML export. But since you say the colors look good in
PrintPreview, that's probably not it (also, I would be very much
surprised to see a simple paste applying bg color at all).

Are you positive your printer driver is not set to print in b/w or
shades of gray only?
