Will not boot,even in the save mode

Running Xp,Home ON Toshiba satellie A55,I was downloading a patch MS and it
was taking for ever so I stop it,crash and I have not been able to boot from
that point on!!

What exactly happens when you try to boot?

What do you have by way of a Windows XP CD?

What happens when you try to boot using one of the Safe Mode options?

Have you tried Last Known Good Configuration?

Do you need to recover data files? Do you have a second computer? If yes
is it a desktop or another laptop?

I have try to boot up in every choice,and i do have another pc it's a desk
top inthe laptop the dvd will not work!!!!!

Do you have data files on the laptop you cannot afford to lose?
