wifi adhoc network setup

any help would be appreciated.

I'm setting up a wireless network between 2 pc's using 2
d-link 510 wifi adapters. the 2 computers seem to be able
to get on the same wireless network and windows says
there is an 11mb connection.

however one pc cannot access the other and vice versa.
network setup wizard has been run but to no avail. the
shared folders are configed properly but the pc's just
don't show up on the network neighbourhood or in any
workgroups.

please help :-)

Turn off any firewalls including the XP default ICF.
