wifi activate/deactivate

hi,

i use a ppc Asus MyPAL A716 and c#

i want to save battery life
is it a standard way to activate/deactive wifi by program ?

making the assumption that wifi is well parametized on the ppc

No, there's no standard way to perform that operation. Your particular
device may provide an API to do it. If not, there's no guarantee that any
particular set of operations that you perform will accomplish any power
savings. In your particular device case, ask the manufacturer how they
recommend that you save power with respect to WiFi...
