Wierd Problem

Some of my programs have been disappearing lately. Media Player, Paint,
Notepad etc. I have also found my computer creating duplicates of folders and
programs that I never asked it to. I have checked multiple times for hacks,
viruses, and spyware, but nothing has turned up. Any suggestions?

That does sound strange!

Maybe a friend is playing a practical joke on you.I would
make some fake important looking document on the desktop
and see if it gets touched.

Also maybe your virus detection is not good enough. I
would recommend the latest updated Norton Anti Virus and
download a free program called AD-AWARE (update this too)
which should take care of most spyware etc.
