Wierd - no adapters in ipconfig

Hi,

I am trying to resolve a problem with my home computer.

1) I cannot connect to the internet - this just happened suddenly yesterday,
no changes to programs or anything

2) I have a network card, which when I ping 127.0.0.1 is working fine, and
in my network places works fine. However, it currently is not sensing when I
plug it in...I have to disable/enable it for it to recognize that it's
connected. However, this is not a problem with the adapter, as I also am able
to connect directly using my usb to modem...and that also loads and says is
connected fine.

3) I have already tried to rebuild my TCP/IP stack by installing the
nettcpip.inf that was already on my harddrive. No luck.

4) Repair function of the connection does not work

5) When I do "ipconfig" - I get only "Windows IP Configuration" > there is
no indication of any adapters whatsoever.

Please help me!!!

First, check for LSP / Winsock corruption.

Second, reinstall the drivers for the network adapters.
