Wierd File

When ever I use outlook express to look at mail (I think
only maybe when I open attachments) I get a file named
tilde "~" on my desktop. Opening the file with notepad
it appears to be my contacts list from outlook. What it
this thing and am I maybe infected with something? I run
lots of virus programs/scans etc and am behind a firewall
with VERY limited access. I do run trhe Ad-Aware programs
occasionally too. Machine is fairly new running a fully
patched XP Home OS. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

It's a bug with outlook express and the address book. MS is working on it.
