Widows XP File Manager Explore reset to top problem

Hi!
When using MS Explore File Manager i have a file marked, I go to a
different window, do what ever and come back to Explore. The program has
reset itself to the first file in the folder, not the one i had it on. Is
there any way to stop this from happening. This does this on my computer at
home also. With 6000 files in the folder, to have it reset all the time
and having to go back to where i was all the time is tedious

No such problems with XYplorer file manager.
