Widows Media Player 10

How do I stop Widows Media Player 10 automatically running when I put a blank
DVD into my DVD drive? It has set itself, without asking me, as my default
burning software. I prefer to use Nero and have to close the media player
window every time I wish to burn either a DVD or CD (this is not an issue of
file association with media player). Cheers, Dan.

Right-click the DVD drive letter, click PROPERTIES|AUTO RUN tab.

For the DVD item (in the box), choose TAKE NO ACTION.
