Wide vertical toolbar

Somehow I now have a wide vertical toolbar showing Folder Tasks, Other Places and Details. How can I get rid of it? I think I pressed something to do with working offline.

if you mean that its on the desktop go here

and install the reg files of:

line 15

15 remove common tasks from the desktop
