Why would WIAWizardMenu want to register itself on my computer?

I received this warning suddenly (out of the blue) when I connected a new
camera via its usb cable and the scanner and camera wizard came up along
with this dire warning ..............

StartupMonitor Warning
The program WIAWizardMenu has registered the executable
RUNDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\sti_ci.dll,WiaCreateWizardMenu
to run at system startup.
Do you wish to allow this change?

Should I be worried?
Should I say "Yes" or "No".

Googling, I find it's related somehow to a web cam (I don't have a web
cam).

Going to the control panel add/remove programs, and sorting in reverse, the
last thing I used was Skype. Before that it was WinDVD. But I don't think
these are related (too bad they didn't have a program to tell you which are
the programs you installed in reverse order. The culprit would always be
the last one! LOL).

How do I find this exact problem (I searched google and nobody ever got the
exact same WinXP warning as far as I could tell).

Thank you,

Joy

if you want to .

Not really unless it's spyware or wants to call mother.

Should I say "Yes" or "No".

It wants to do what it says "run sti_ci.dll at system startup".

If the .dll is related to a webcam and you don't have a webcam,
you can safely say "no".
Even if you said yes, you can always go in later and remove this
..dll from the startup list.

A program like sysinternals 'Autoruns' is good for managing your
startup programs. Many others even more simple to use.
www.mlin.net has a free 'StartUpCPL' program for doing so.
