Why won't the computer let me import .pst files from Outlook 2003.

Why won't the computer let me import .pst files from Outlook 2003 to Outlook
XP?
It tells me that it is not compatible.
Do I have to get an Office 2003 upgrade or is there another way to import
the files?

OL2003 format pst is not compatible with earlier versions of OL
You either have to upgrade to OL2003, or if OL2003 is available to you
elsewere, in OL2003 create a new pst in earlier version format and copy
whatever from origonal pst to this.
BTW Importing a pst is often not reccommended, often better to open the pst
and copy, if required.
