why won't outlook 2007 send my email

I am giving outlook one more chance before I stick with Windows mail forever.
I have sent some emails, but one (with resized photo attachment) will not
budge from outbox whatever I prod it with.
Please give me something!!!! I HATE VISTA!!!!
 
How large is the image? What limit does your ISP place on attachments? Do you have "send immediately" checked in your send/receive settings?

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

Additionally to what Milly said;
If you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook, disable this
integration and try again.
 
Thanks for your help. I have disabled "scheduled send/receive"
That may have done it because the outbox is now empty. I hope all goes well
now.
