Why won't my product key work to install my Access 2002?

This product key is valid and will not work. I do not want to e-mail
microsoft and be charged $100. Can someone help me? Do I need to double
check something?
 
Well, what does "valid" mean? Do you have an actual Office CD with attached
key? Or did you just borrow a key from someone? If so, you may be trying to
use an upgrade key for a full version installation CD, or vice versa.
Of course it's always possible you are just mistyping the key; I've done
that often enough myself.
