Why won't my calendar let me schedule appointments any more?

What warning? Be exact.

Which version of Outlook? Always needed.

What have you recently added to your computer system? Many software
programs interact with Outlook.

Hi Judy,

I may have a similar problem being raised by Digio. Here is my story
(sorry, quite lengthy)...

I recently upgraded from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007. We are using also
Exchange 2003. The upgrading went smooth, uninstall office 2003 and then
installed '07. However, my mistake is that when I first set up my account, I
chose my e-mails to be on the server and even imported back my address book
and calendar. Supposedly, it should be all on my local (laptop) as that is
the SOP :) So what I did, I went to DATA FILE MANAGEMENT, select Data File
tab and then uploaded my PST file that I was using with my Outlook 2003 and
set it as 'Default'. All e-mails were there and I was able to import back my
calendar. However, I noticed that when I try to accept or add
appointments/meeting requests, I am getting the "Cannot save free/busy
information" balloon notification on my outlook 07. And then, when I try to
sync my calendar with my phone, it is actually loading all entries that were
imported on the server and not on the 'local' calendar. I tried to delete
all the entries from my 'server' calendar by going to PROPERTIES of the
calendar and clicking "Clear offline items". But they keep on getting back
just after 2 seconds.

Please advise on how I can put back the old setting where in I only keep one
calendar (stored locally) so that when I sync them with my phone, i will get
the updated entries and not the one on the server.

Sorry for the lengthy e-mail, I just want to share the complete information.
Need your help badly. It has been like this for 2 weeks and its just
recently that I noticed this as I started to miss some of the meetings and
appointments since I am not getting any 'snooze' from my laptop or from my
phone. Thanks, any help will be highly appreciated.

by the way, I am using nokia e51.

Regards,
Manny

Hi Judy, can you help me?
Outlook 2003 - My calendar will not let me add entries! When I type them
in, either on the calendar directly or by using the 'new' command, a little
blue Microsoft error box comes up that says - 'Could not save item' - with a
box to click ok but there are no other options. This is so random. I am not
sure why it wont let use my calendar. ....was I bad this year?? lol
