When you open FP, how are you opening the web / site you want to work on?

Either i just click on it from the column on the left or in the past i would
just control click on the link in the normal view. It would then open the
page for me to work on but it was not live. I had never used live editing,
the someone told me to live edit to fix another issue and ever since then the
computer just wants to keep going back to live edit. so no when i control
click in the normal view it opens the live web page in a new frontage window.

and now when i edit a page not live and publish, the hyper links are not
working. When i view my home page with Internet Explorer, it i hover over a
hyper link and get properties it is sourcing the page on my computer, not the
website. Thus the new links are not working. I could fix them my live
editing but that's not what i want to do.

I can send you a link to my homepage if you think that would help to show
you the problem i am having.

thanks for your time!

When you open FP, then go to File Menu | Open Web / Site and enter http://www.yourdomainname.com and
then your login info, then you can edit your pages.
