I'm using OE6 - for the first time ever. Been at it a week, already got
problems.

Not a problem but puzzles me: What's the difference, OE and Outlook? What's
Outlook there on my (XP) desktop for?

Which one should i use?

oe is free, outlook you buy
outlook has better message filtering
outlook doesn't do news groups, oe does
oe does 'identities' for multiple user home type machines, outlook doesn't
outlook includes a calendar, contact lists, task lists, and lots of other
office type of stuff that oe doesn't.

which one you use depends on what you do. personally i use both, outlook
for mail and calendar, oe just for news groups.

Well thanks for the reply. I'll take a look at it. You seem to be saying it
is basically for an entirely different purpose - contact lists, task lists,
etc....

And calendaring. But it handles email, too - and can be a MAPI client to
connect to Exchange server, as well as Internet mail.
