why suggest names doesn't function in my outlook

I use outlook 2002 with exchange server, and select the suggest names while
completing To,Cc, and Bcc fields box.
but it doesn't function. normally Outlook will remember the name has been
entered before. right?

Yep, is the option enabled? Also see if it works when you create a new
profile;

When the nk2-file (where the cache is kept) breaks with your profile this
usually is your only way out.
