why outlook calendar is taking "today" like default

I have an user who has problem with his outlook 2003. His calendar always
takes "Start Time" and "End Time" "Today" even if he takes a different date.
Even if he changes the date it goes to today.
I tested setting his user in other pc and I have same problem.
We use Exchange 2003.
Can somebody help with this ?

Very similar problem. On monthly view, I click on a date to enter an event.
The event is forced to the current date rather than the intended date. I
can't find any setting to correct this flaw, and would appreciate your
assistance, please
