HELP!! I have always used Outlook Express as my default email program. It was
on my desktop when I purchased this computer, and it's just the option I
chose and have always went with it. I recently installed Office 2003, because
I had previously installed 2007 and there were problems with it, so I
uninstalled it, and it took everything off with it, except for my Outlook
Express. Today, I opened Microsoft Outlook because my new boss wanted me to
use that program for work. My whole computer has been a nightmare ever
since!! Outlook doesn't open properly for one, it sits there for long periods
of time with the hourglass on the screen as if it's attempting to do
something. When the hourglass finally disappears and I can move the mouse,
the minute I click on something the hourglass appears again and it freezes up
again. I have to manually end the program to get out of it. Also, there is
now a yellow envelope on the bottom of my screen that says I have unopended
items, what the heck is that? I click on it and nothing happens. I tried to
open outlook back up and now it's gone. What in the hell is going on? Please
help!!!

Is this a work computer? If so, contain your company's Help Desk or talk to
the IT people and get them to fix the problem. There are so many
variables in what you describe that it would be extremely difficult for
people who can't see your PC to solve the probelm.
