Why is Outlook 2003 crashing each time I open it?

I just installed Outlook 2003, and each time I open it, I get the same error
message: "Unable to open your default e-mail folders." Then it gives the
location of the file that is "not an offline folder file", then shuts down.

Try a new profile with anew PST and added POP3 account via the Mail icon in
Control Panel. Outlook is looking for an old profile on you machine that was
possibly Exchange.
