why is my signature coming through as an attachment?

When I create a signature in Outlook 2003, I am inserting a small picture
into the signature and right next to it is my contact information. When the
recipient recieves, they find the picture also in the email as an attachment,
and sometimes 2 different attachments. I am wondering why this happens? Do I
have something set up to do that unbeknownst to me? Please help, its a little
embarrassing to have the picture show up attached, as if I had manually sent
it to the recpient so they could see my beautiful redhead up close and life
sized. I have also tried resizing the picture, no luck on that.

Miss T:

wondering if you were able to figure this out yet? I am having some
problems as well. Attached Signature shows fine internally to company
and some external contacts, but like sending to Yahoo.com email
address, sig shows fine but also includes the 3 images in sig! we can't
have that happening.
