Signature question

AllanAunkst

I created a signature using a small pic and when I send it out in html
or plain text it always shows up as the signature file itself and it
shows up as an attachment.
So I decided to try sending it out using rich text, but when i do this
the picture doesn't show up just the path of where the picture is.
Is there a solution that so when I send out a email with a signature
picture file it will only show as the signature itself and not an
attachment also.

Thank you

Allan

Verify how you created the signature. Note that Plain Text will always
attach the picture as Plain Text can't hold embedded images or any
formatting.

I went to options then to mail format then to signature then new then
I typed my name in the box and then I right clicked in the box then I
browsed for an image.
I then inserted the image.

All this was done in html setting with in the mail format area.

It works but the receiver just gets the pic twice..once as a sig file
then the other as a attatchment.

What do I need to do to correct this

Ok so Now what I did was go to the outlook help section and follow the
directions to the t and used the advanced edit using word.

Still my signature image shows up twice once as a sig pic and the
second as a attachment,

any ideas?

Do you have a virus scanner that does an Outgoing mailscan? Disable its
integration with Outlook and try again. It could be malforming your message.

Ok I tried that,Im now thinking it just depends on who the email
reciever is becaue if its another outlook user it doesnt happen,

I only find it happening with AOL.com
GOOWY.com
MYWAY.com

It is indeed up to the receiving mail client and servers on how the messages
are being converted and displayed.
