Why is my Microsoft Office button black and gray?

I have Office 2007 (operating on XP ) all my office programs have "flat"
logos, for example the Office button is black and gray - Not dimensional with
black logo and gray background. In fact, all my office folders, buttons are
"flat" and basic shapes. How do I fix this problem?
