Why is it so SLow ?

I need help. My computer and/or my Internet provider is
very slow when
trying to navigate around the web. My old computer which
was about half the
size of my new one was faster, so I'm thinking perhaps
there is something I
can do to this new computer to make it browse faster.

I currently running a Compaq, Intel Pend 4 200mhz, with
256 DDR ram, and 40
gig hard drive, and Wind XP. My ISP is MSN.

Has anyone any suggestions as to what I might do to my
settings or whatever,
in order to bring up pages on the internet a little
faster. Thanks in

The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
