Really strange behavior, I cannot anymore write an e-mail.
When I reply to one e-mail this is fine I can write and send.
But if I want to write direcctly an e-mail to someone by clicking on new
e-mail windows e-mail then just crash and closed.
This is also closing when I go to see option and then close the window of
the option, what can I do???
Thanks

Those symptoms can be caused by interference from an antivirus
program. Which antivirus are you running?
As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus should be turned off,
although that may not be sufficient to eliminate all bad effects.
In a worst case scenario, your antivirus may need to be uninstalled.

Email scanning in any antivirus should be disabled, for reasons
explained here:
http://thundercloud.net/infoave/tutorials/email-scanning/index.htm

If no improvement after disabling email scanning, consider upgrading
to Windows Live Mail, because it is less prone to suffering bad effects
from overly intrusive antivirus programs:

HI,
I am running norton, but this wasn't always the case it did work before and
I cannot tell you if there were any related events with it.
I really don't think this is due to an antivirus because why it crashing
immediately when I click on new email.
I think the antivirus is checking only outgoing and ingoing mail not what
you are writing.
This is nice to try to help but this exact answer is posted on all questions
about email crashing I have the impression.
And this doesn't happen when I click on the reply button on email I already
received even recent ones.
So can someone help.
Thank you.
Have a nice day

From experience I know that Norton antivirus can produce some odd
effects with Windows Mail. If you are not willing to do a trial uninstall of
Norton, then your only other option is to upgrade to Windows Live Mail:
