outlook changed to a beta version and keeps closing down. I only bought it
in june last year.

A retail version of Outlook will never "change" to beta. What makes you
think it's a beta version?
 
Because i keep getting a error message which keeps flashing on and off my
screen telling me to restart Outlook 2003.
Im not happy with this and would like it sorting can you help.

What makes you believe this signifies a beta version? Sounds like you have
some other problem with your installation. Have you done a "Help>Detect and
Repair"? Have you tried creating a new mail profile? Have you tried
creating or repairing the PST?
