Why has my product key and product ID expired?

I have had tis operating system (windows xp professional) for six months.
I don't expect the product key and the product ID to expire this soon.
Why has is this problem occurd not once but several times?
This is simply not good enough.
I bought the software in good faith from a reputable retailer.
I think I am entitled to expect better than what I am recieving.
Now what is microsoft going to do about this pathetic piece of
rubish???????????

Why don't you just pick up a phone and call them?

And if you do not know the phone number, check it from
\Windows\System32\oobe\phone.inf

Perhaps if you actually told us what occurred, what the exact message was,
etc - we can tell you where you are misunderstanding your situation.
