Why has Access disappeared from Microsoft Office 2003

Access has 'disappeared' from my pc and from the installation CD of Microsoft
Office which I bought and installed in April 2005. Why?
 
What version of Office did you purchase? Only Office Professional includes
Access.

Disappeared from your install CD?
That would quite a phenomenon.
Which edition of Office did you purchase? Standard, Educational,
Professional?
You should find the Edition on the CD, or go to
Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs, then scroll down to the entry for:

"Microsoft Office (your edition) 2003"

If you have the Standard or Academic(not sure that's the correct name, it
could be Students and Teachers Edition), Access did not come with your
edition.

If you are sure you had Access before, you can try either a "Repair Install"
or "Add or Remove Features" by clicking the Change button in the Add or
Remove Programs dialog.
