Why don't my pictures show up?

I have a webpage with 5 pictures on it. The first 2 on the page don't show up.
They are there when I preview in my browser throught front page, but not
when I publish them.

Right click on one of the x's on the published version and select Properties.
If the file path shows as pointing to your hard drive, make sure the images are actually inside your
local web and then remove and reinsert them on your page and republish.

You must import your images into the site files before using them.

This is a newsgroup, not a web site. It sounds like you are viewing it
through a web site. But you didn't mention which web site you are viewing it
from, so we have no idea what the problem is, as there are many web sites
that display newsgroups.

On the other hand, it doesn't really matter, does it, because apparently you
won't be able to read *this* answer either!

So I'm building a site on tripod.com using FrontPage. None of my pictures
will show up. I've never used html before and I've tried everything I can
think of to get them to work. Will someone please help me, and remember I've
never used this before so if you have the patience to actually tell me step
by step, that would be amazing.
Thank you for any help...
