Why doesn't WindowsXP remember my settings?

Every time I restart my computer it always asked me for my previous
information. From example, my login information:

1: I have used tweak IU to allow me to gain access to my Windows desktop
without choosing which individual and each time I reboot a white line appears
under my login screen and it reverts for me back to my previous settings.

2. Every time I reboot my Zone Alarm Pro asks me for my settings once again.

Zone Alarm stores its own settings.
Are you sure you have a fully functional profile?

Create a new profile - does that new profile keep its settings after a
reboot?
If so - your profile is corrupt. How and why.. who knows.. But it happens.

Zone Alarm - that's a third party product. It could be that your corrupt
profile (if you have one) is affecting it too - but it could be something
wrong with where it is attempting to store its settings. You'd have to ask
those who make the product you are having trouble with and in Zone Alrms'
case - that is not microsoft. =)

This issue has nothing really to do with ZA but mostly everything to do with
Windows. It seems that my Windows configuration is not updating to the newest
"configuration" and that is what is "reinstalling" itself after every reboot.
And that is what I am having problems with trying to figure out how to
update my "system configuration" so that it will stop doing this. Any tips?

I cannot wait for Windows Vista Jadey

I mean you no disrepect Roger but you seem to have an attitude that will
make it difficult for people to help you. You are here because you have a
problem that you can't solve for yourself yet you second-guess someone's
advice who is an experienced, knowledgeable, troubleshooter. Shenan S.
suggested something for you to try and I'm sure the intention was to use
information gathered that way to figure out the next step. Instead of
trying it and detailing what happened, you just discount the advice and
ask for "any tips", as if there is some short, magic, answer for every
problem. That is a hit-and-miss way to expect to solve a problem. If you
let the knowledgable people here have the necessary information, one of
them will help you figure out the problem and the solution. By the way,
I do not agree with your assessment of the "problem". As the saying goes,
a word to the wise is sufficient.

I am sorry you feel that way but you do not know me personally so you have no
right to say that I had an attitude problem and I guarantee you are not
psychic. I had no intentions of sounding like I had an "attitude" with her.
I am getting at is I have tried everything to try to remedy this situation
including uninstalling Zone Alarm and I am still having this occurrence. I
have used the Tweak UI program do and have it automatically log on to a
single account (because this computer is a single user PC and every single
time that I reboot my system it resets my configuration to the previous
settings. I have tried everything to my knowledge because I am pretty much
computer literate and the only reason I am asking you this is because I am at
a wall and I am unable to figure this problem out by myself.
