Why doesn't this work?

R

Did you Publish the website via File | Publish and then
http://www.iampeth.com ?
Did you have the extensions installed before you published or after?

And...your host has to allow the FP form handler to work.

| webhost is 1and1.com
| website is www.iampeth.com
|
| I turned on the Frontpage extensions on the website
| I created a one-page web with a single page called form.htm
| Put in a few simple form fields
| I published it to my website
|
| Why doesn't it work?

hmmm... New Info.

I just spoke with 1and1 Tech Support, and he said it takes 3 hours for the
FP extensions to be fully activated. Its only been about 1 hour since I
turned them on. I saw a whole bunch of new folders show up so I thought it
was done.

I'll wait a couple of hours and see what happens.

So, it looks like I may have published via FTP before the extensions were
fully installed.

R

Rob Giordano \(Crash\)

Ah.
Ok, so wait until they are installed and do NOT let it publish via ftp.
In the meantime create a new form on your local web and name it something
else, then publish via http.
You may also have an issue with email to an email address that is not the
same domain as the site (your's is not).

Delete the old form too.

I've had a lot of fun building it. I'm big on calligraphy.

Thanks for checking.

half unchels (dunno if I spelled that right...:)
