Hi

How would you suggest that MS does that? That option can be incorporated into a Message Rule by the individual user.

Don't worry, the FEDS will do it soon.
Like they did with phones :)

It seems kind of obvious, no?

Any advise given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS (Normally, Usually, Generally, Sometimes :)

Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
Version: 6.0.521 / Virus Database: 319 - Release Date: 23/09/2003

My mistake. Does the message then stay on the server?

Hi

Any message that you block on your PC, will still stay on the MS news server, yes, until it is deleted by MS - probably after a certain timespan. The only way an individual user can 'delete' a message from the MS servers is by cancelling one of their own messages.

Wasn't he referring to mail messages? If so, whether it stays on the server
may depend on whether he selected "Delete it from Server" in his filter
options.

Hi Gary

I can't see any mention of mail in the original posting - just the reference to Outlook express.
