everytime i type the letter x by itself word turns it into xury. i have
consulted help and google and cannot find how to make this NOT happen. would
appreciate hearing if there is a way to change this. thank you in advance...

i am using microsoft word 2003 ver. 11.6568.6568 sp2

Open the Tools > AutoCorrect Options dialog. Look in the list for an
entry that has x on the left and xury on the right. If it's there,
select it and click the Delete button.

Most likely you have an AutoCorrect entry which is causing the replacement
to occur.

The next time it happens move your pointer to the x, then click the SmartTag
to open a menu from which you can fix the problem.

Or, if the SmartTags are turned off, go to Tools>AutoCorrect Options (menu
may read a little different - I'm going from memory here)
