Why does Windows update site list updates that are already installed?

Running WinXP Pro. I installed Q329170, Q328310, and Q329390 from the
Windows Update website on 1/16/03. My last update check was on 9/10/03 and
these 3 updates weren't listed at that time. Today (11/16/03) I checked for
updates again and these 3 updates are listed again.

The 3 updates show up in the Registry, Add/Remove Programs, the Windows
directory (hidden uninstall folders), and the Windows Update website under
"view installation history". Does anybody know how I can "fix" my system so
these updates keep getting listed?
