KB2463332

C

capitan

Can anyone tell me how to uninstall this update? I did a google search
and I haven't been able to find what I'm looking for, and even in
add/remove programs when I check the show updates box, it does not list
this update as an install. I also tried looking in the windows
directory with the show hidden files and folders option enabled, and it
does not list with the other kb update folders there.

When I look at my windows updates history, it does show this update as
installed. Thanks.

Have you looked into System Restore?

Hi Ken. I have considered system restore, but I was hoping there was a
way to only uninstall this one update. If I can't find another way to
only uninstall this specific update, trying system restore might be my
only option. Thanks for the reply.

Hi, capitan,

If you end up doing a System Restore, it seems logical to me you could
turn off Automatic Updates, do a manual update and install all but this
update, then hide this update so it's not offered again. Then turn
Automatic Updates back on.

Hi David, as I specified, I've already checked and that folder is not
listed in the windows directory. Any other suggestions?

spuninst.exe reverts the files as they were prior to the update. If that is not present
then the only recourse is System Restore to a break point prior to the update's
installation.

OK, thanks for your help.
