The dialog box to enter id and password for by pop email account for outlook
keeps popping up. It used to be just a few times a day. Now is it several
times an hour! It is driving me crazy. What is causing this?

A lots of things. Without any details about your setup like version of
Outlook and types and amount of accounts you are using it is hard to help
you.

I am using windows xp, professional, Outlook 2003 (part of microsoft office
small business edition).

I have been using this successfully for many months and never had a problem.

Now it asks me for the network log in and password all the time, even though
they are supposed to be saved. And now, just a few minutes ago (though it
was still working this morning) I can't send or receive mail. I am really
frustrated.

I only have one account in outlook that that is for my yahoo (at sbcglobal)
account that comes with our DSL.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Nancy

Are you using a virusscanner that integrates with Outlook and does
incoming/outgoing mail scanning? If so disable this integration and try
again.
