why does power point close when I click on the animations tab

Every time I click on the Animations Tab, in Power Point, the program closes.
It doesn't matter if it's a new file or one that was stored. It worked
yesterday.

Hi

I would start by restarting your computer, then try Office Button ->
PowerPoint Options -> Resources -> run Office Diagnostics.
