Why does Outlook hide my new message windows?

I am a new user to Outlook but I have noticed that when I click on New or
Reply to an email, my window hides behind my Inbox window. I have to
minimize my Inbox Window and click somewhere in my new message or reply to
activate it. Does anyone else have this problem?

Several people have posted this, although I've never had it occur. No good
answer so far.
