Why does my Outlook 2003 always crash before opening ?

My Outlook 2003 opens and gets as far as "Configuiring Outlook Accounts ...
Configuring Welcome Message" and then just goes to "Not Responding" ... i
have looked online but to no avail. Either people have given idea that don't
work, are unable on the settings that i have, or they can get into Outlook.

Outlook has NEVER worked on my PC. I installed SP3 for Office 2003 and i got
one step further and my anti-virus asked to accept it connecting to the
internet. And then straight back to where it stalled before !!

1. Uninstall the AV portion set to integrate with Outlook - it is crap and causes all kinds of problems.
2. Create a new mail profile. (Control Panel->Mail Icon->Profiles- >New)

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.
