Why does my browser freeze with the "missing!!!!!!!!!!!!" box?

I don't think IE really freezes, but I get the little yellow exclamation
point! and a gigallion websites blink by in my status bar whenever I go to a
web page that displays "missing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". Then my browser refuses
to do anything. What is happening? Is there any way to stop this? HELP!

Does this happen on all websites? Any idea what those gazillion websites are
that are blinking by?

I'd bet you need to start with a thorough malware inspection, concluding with an
essential HijackThis analysis, and expert advice. Please read this article, and
