Okay, a week ago I was able to double-click a folder to open it. Now, when I
double-click a folder, it opens a Command Window (DOS prompt).
I looked in My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > File Types tab and looked
at the File Folder and Folder types. The File Folder does not have an Open
option. It does have Find, Open Command Window Here, and Print Directory
Listing actions. None of these are set as the default action.
The Folder has the following actions; Explore, Open, and Print Directory
Listing. Open is the default action.
This problem on occurs when double clicking a folder. I can open a drive
(C:\, D:\, etc.) by double-clicking and files are opened in their respective
applications.
I tried adding an Open action to the File Folder but don't know which
application to assign to the action.
I'm running WinXP SP2 with all hotfixes.
Any Suggestions?
Thanks,
Scott
