Why does Connection Details Window open when I open Outlook?

When I open Outlook 2003 I get a window entitled Microsoft LDAP directory.
Sub heading is Connection Details with the following: Server Name: NULL;
Port 3268; User Name: NULL. I can click OK or Cancel to open Outlook. This
window also comes up several times when I am synching with my Smartphone and
delays the process. What does it mean? How can I get rid of it?

if you aren't using an ldap directory, go to tools, accounts, view or change
addresses... select the ldap account and delete.
