why does an old/changed address book name resolve in TO field?

I have changed entries in my address book (for example: from Architectural
and Board Committee to Board Committee), but when I type "Board" in the TO:
field, it still resolves to Architectural and Board Committee which doesn't
even exist any more. How can I refresh where this is stored? I read it's
stored in the NK2 file -- can I edit that? Where do I find it? thanks, BES
 
Its remembered address entries, not entries specific to your contacts
entries;
Hilight the 'bad' entry with the arrow keys and press delete
