I am using Outlook 2003 with WORD as the editor and as I am composing an
email every letter in the body of the email looks much larger then it should
be. Once I send it it goes back to normal and appears as it should. What is
wrong?

While composing in Word enable the Standard toolbar. Does this indicate 100%
as well?
Do you get the same results when having Outlook as your e-mail editor?
In what format anf font are you composing?

Well there you go! THANK YOU. It was at 200%...
Ahhh, now it is NORMAL looking.

THANKS!
